Band saw blade handles horizontal, vertical cutting applications

The 3868 carbide triple set “Xtra” TSX band saw blade from Bahco is engineered to cut materials on both vertical and horizontal band saw machines.

The triple chip tooth design blade has a positive 10-degree rake angle to provide smooth, precise cuts on titanium and other difficult and abrasive materials, the company states. According to the manufacturer, a set blade is much more forgiving in less stable machines than an unset blade.

The grind of the carbide and set tooth design help the blade reduce vibration, especially in vertical cutting applications.
