Dake 14CX band saw from Laguna Tools

Laguna Tools Inc., in collaboration with its metalworking division Dake, has introduced the 14CX band saw with upgraded features for cutting steel, iron, and stainless steel.

The foot brake system has a larger brake disc for enhanced stopping power and operator safety. The digital readout offers a quick reference for blade speeds and allows the speed to be set based on a specific blade and material.

The two-speed, high- and low-range pulley system keeps the band saw in the correct torque range for the blade speed and materials being cut. The speed control knob located on the control panel allows speed adjustment on the fly, and the pulse width modulation system provides electronic speed control for quick stops of the DC motor and wheels when shut off.
