Circular saw introduced

Saw blade and band saw manufacturer LENOX® has entered the industrial precision circular saw market with its CircTech™ Precision platform designed for cutting low-carbon and mild-alloy steels.

The sawing system features an advanced tensioning system that allows the blade to maintain plate flatness and tight tolerances. The tooth design and blade construction reduce vibration and stress risers, which extends the blade life and reduces the need for frequent changeovers.

The blade’s advanced tooth geometry provides smooth part finish and a thin kerf, allowing for good material utilization and reduced scrap, the manufacturer states. Made with special grade cermet tips, the blades also are designed to efficiently remove chips for faster cutting.
