Kasto’s KASTOmicut swing-frame band saw cuts variety of materials

Kasto has extended its KASTOmicut line of swing-frame band saws. The saw is designed to cut tubes, sections, and solid materials to length and for miter cutting.

The E 4.6 model saws round material up to 335 mm dia. and flat material with dimensions up to 460 by 335 mm. It is designed for single-sided miter angles and is suitable for cuts from 0 to 60 degrees.

The U 4.6 processes flat material up to 520 mm wide. The continuously adjustable cutting speed is 12 to 150 MPM. Miter cuts from -45 to +60 degrees are possible.

The P 1.8. cuts up to 180 mm and is suitable for straight and miter cuts from 0 to 45 degrees. The feed rate is determined by manually guiding the saw frame, and a cutting rail serves as material support.
