LVD’s CS, MVS, and HGS guillotine shears meet wide range of requirements

LVD offers several lines of standard hydraulic guillotine shears, along with customized machines.

The CS line is designed for cost-efficient, general shearing applications. It features a motorized backgauge with 59.06-in. squaring arm as standard. A front support is standard on the CS 13/31 model.

The MVS line provides accurate shearing with touchscreen control for use in demanding job shops or as a stand-alone machine. The robust frame design helps minimize deflection during cutting. Features include push-button adjustable stroke length, blade gap, and rake angle; a ball transfer system; large throat gap for overlap cutting; and a Touch-and-Go backgauge system.

The HGS shears offer welded construction for accurate shearing results in mild steel up to 1.18 in. The rake angle can be adjusted at a minimum value of 0.5 degrees. Features include touchscreen programming; automatic calculation of blade clearance and cutting angle; large throat gap; and Touch-and-Go backgauge system.
