Pemamek has added the Pema APS 70000, a 3-axis, 70-ton, heavy-duty positioner, to its APS Skymaster series. It handles workpieces up to 153,000 lbs. in rotating, tilting, or lifting position.

Integration to the Pema WeldControl 100 enables collection of production data and diagnostic and welding parameters. The unit’s rotation accuracy helps ensure efficient multilayer welding.

Grounding of the welding current is standard. With fitted supporting rolls, long workpieces also can be rotated. Preheating accessories, wireless control, and special table plate designs are optional.
