Cabinet oven heats ends of long parts

Grieve has developed No. 994, a 500-degrees-F cabinet oven used for heating the ends of long parts at the customer’s facility. Workspace dimensions are a tapered 10 in. at front and 20 in. wide at rear by 20 in. deep by 21 in. high.

Nichrome wire heating elements deliver 9 kW, and the 600-CFM, ½-HP recirculating blower provides vertical upward airflow to the work load. The oven has 4-in. insulated walls and an aluminized steel interior and exterior. It has safety equipment for handling flammable solvents, including explosion venting door hardware.
