DIN-rail power supplies are compact

IDEC Corp. has introduced the PS5R-V line of DIN-rail power supplies, replacing the PS5R and PS5R-S series. They are available in 7.5-, 10-, 15-, 30-, 60-, 90-, 120-, and 240-W versions. They are compact, with overall dimensions reduced by up to 25 percent from previous generations.

Operating temperature is -13 to +167 degrees F, allowing the power supplies to be used in control panels without the need for air conditioning or other cooling devices. Operating efficiencies have been improved 16 percent from previous generations.
