Edge protection profiles protect sheet surfaces

J.W. Winco Inc. offers GN 2184 edge protection profiles. The RoHS-compliant profiles are installed on the front edge of metal sheets and plates, protecting the surfaces from damage by sharp edges. The edge finish additionally achieves an optical decorative effect while minimizing the need for deburring and chamfering of cut metal sheets.

The profiles are installed by hand or with a soft-face hammer. Adhesives are not required. The embedded clamp insert prevents the profile from detaching.

They resist temperatures from -40 to 194 degrees F. Made from a black polyvinyl chloride with a textured finish, the profiles have a hardness of 70±5 Shore A.
