Portable marking system works on heavy, bulky parts

SIC Marking has developed the e1-p63c portable marking system. The compact dot peen marking system provides permanent identification of all kinds of metal parts.

The system is suitable for use on heavy and bulky parts or difficult-to-access areas. Designed for balance, the marking gun weighs 5.7 lbs. The system measures 8.07 by 7.99 by 5.24 in. and offers a marking area of 2.36 by 0.98 in.

While cradling the controller with both hands, users can enter data with their thumbs. The new software allows alphanumeric text, logos, and data matrix codes to be marked.
