Robot tugger tows 15,000 lbs.

AutoGuide™ has introduced the Max 15 high-capacity, mobile robot tugger. The vehicle, which can tow 15,000 lbs., is suitable for use in manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution facilities.

Traveling in both forward and reverse directions, the tugger has an electric hitch that automatically connects to one or more carts before hauling them between pickup and delivery destinations at speeds up to 3.8 MPH. The high-torque motor allows the vehicle to traverse up and down grades to 4 percent inclination.

Two navigation systems are available: magnetic induction guidance technology and natural feature guidance (available in early 2018).
