Short-stroke positioner handles capacities up to 4,000 lbs.

ALM Positioners has designed a lower-capacity, short-stroke positioner for small weldments and assemblies. Created for customers who don't require positioning capacities greater than 4,000 lbs., this unit makes it possible to transition from manual welding to automation.

The hydraulically driven positioner is electronically equalized with a power rotator. Using the company’s standard elevating headstock/tailstock units, the positioner features 24-in. vertical lift, solenoid-controlled safety pawls, 2-HP hydraulic units for each column, 9-in. powered rotator, and pendant control.
