TigerStop introduces Dynamic Pack Optimization software upgrade for nesting packs, bundles

TigerStop offers a new upgrade for TigerTouch software called Dynamic Pack Optimization, which nests packs or bundles of material for the greatest yield. The function optimizes entire packs or bundles of like-profiled material, rather than single pieces. It does so quickly and accurately while tracking material usage statistics data, says the company.

The operator enters the stock profile to be cut or processed, followed by the maximum number of like profiles the saw envelope or machine tool can process at one time. The software then tells the operator how many pieces of stock to bundle together in the pack, preventing overcutting of raw stock.
