TRUMPF appoints national service director for standard machines

TRUMPF Inc., Farmington, Conn., has named Heidi-Melanie Maier as national service director for standard machines within the service department.

Maier began her career with the sheet metal fabricating equipment manufacturer in 2001 at the company headquarters in Ditzingen, Germany, in the media relations and communications department, eventually serving as head of corporate communications. She moved to TRUMPF Inc. in North America in 2018 when she assumed the role of director of sales and marketing for TruServices and Smart Services.

She holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Münster and the University of East Anglia, as well as a master’s degree from the University of Stuttgart.
