Work order automation added to quoting and production software

SecturaSOFT LLC has introduced a new release of its SecturaFAB™ quoting and production software for short-run, high-mix, quick-response fabricators. This version includes features for work order process automation and improved approval management to help ensure the parts have the correct processes and the geometry is ready to be cut at the laser.

The software can pick up and count each feature from a part designed in SolidWorks® before automatically applying them on the part. A secondary approval process requires the estimator to sign off on the part that uses these features before going on to the production manager to approve the parts to be fabricated.
