Argesystems offers M8 heavy-duty, 6-axis backgauge

Argesystems has developed the M8 backgauge. This heavy-duty, 6-axis unit has been customized to suit a 400-ton press brake, with special strokes and configurations.

Features include 0.05-mm backgauge positioning accuracy, 1,000-mm X stroke, and 300-mm R stroke. All axes—X1, X2, R1, R2, Z1, and Z2—are independent. All transitions are on rack and pinion to help keep the backgauge silent and precise. Heavy-duty shaped fingers allow conical bending.
