Exact Metrology’s Raytech measuring tables come in 1-, 3-axis versions

Exact Metrology offers Raytech shop floor dimensional measuring systems for measuring parts for cutting, bending, punching, waterjet cutting, laser cutting, drilling, and tapping.

The single-axis table is suitable for checking flat sheets with straight edges and square corners. It helps reduce setup time, scrap rates, and part backlog, says the company. The table integrates with SPC software for quality tracking and reporting and reduces operator-to-operator variation. The squareness gauge allows users to check sheets for edge perpendicularity or camber, while diagonal blocks allow the user to check corner-to-corner squareness on sheets.

The 3-axis table is suitable for checking laser- and waterjet-cut sheet metal parts with many features that are bent and formed. It includes flexible metrology software, sealed Heidenhain encoders, low-maintenance linear bearings, and a Renishaw touch probe. The table can integrate with SPC software for quality tracking and reporting.
