FreeScan UE laser 3D scanner from Shining 3D offers accuracy, repeatability

Shining 3D has introduced the FreeScan UE hand-held laser 3D scanner, suitable for use by expert users and beginners. It offers 0.02-mm accuracy and the stability to deliver precise results independently and in diverse application environments.

The portable, lightweight device supports scanning of black and reflective surfaces to accommodate a variety of applications. The scan area can reach 510 by 520 mm, providing a large field of view.

New software offers simple setup and guidance through the work flow process. The scan data can be imported into inspection software such as Control X, Verisurf Inspect, and Einsense Q.
