Hand-held XRF analyzer measures variety of elements

The new Olympus Vanta VCA model XRF analyzer can be used for multiple applications, such as alloy and RoHS. It is equipped with a 50-kV silver (Ag) X-ray tube for comprehensive analytical performance.

The unit can handle multiple applications in a variety of harsh environments, withstanding temperatures from 14 to 122 degrees F. It is IP65-rated for protection against dust and water and drop tested (MIL-STD 810 G).

The analyzer provides accurate elemental analysis and quantification of alloys in 1 to 2 sec. New Axon™ technology combined with an intuitive interface produces results that are fast, accurate, reliable, and easy to obtain, the company reports.
