Simulation, automated functions in new Coe PLC help reduce press feed line setup time

Coe Press Equipment has introduced its next-generation PLC with multiple features that help reduce the time required to commission new press feeding lines. New loop and press simulation capabilities enable the company to test, debug, and perform a complete startup before shipping, helping to decrease setup time at the customer.

The HMI guides operators logically through the setup process, and the company’s Work Roll Advisor and Feed Roll Advisor software is embedded into the controls. Other new features include Ethernet diagnostics and pictorial main menus.
