Starrett Digi-Check No. 258 Series Height Masters measuring tool has electronic digital readout

- Testing and Measuring
The L.S. Starrett Co. has introduced its Digi-Check™ No. 258 Series Height Masters with electronic digital readout. The tools provide a reference setting for checking bore gages, inside micrometers, end measuring rods, and other gauges and for measuring part height.
The display gives and instant readout to 0.0001 in. A graduated, satin-chrome-finished precision micrometer head with a speeder knob for fast positioning provide staggered graduations reading to 0.000 in. Both the micrometer head and digital readout are directly in line with the operator’s vision.
The gauge is housed in a heavily flanged frame and base featuring three-point hardened, ground, and lapped bearing pads, contributing to an accuracy of +/- 0.0002 in. Gauge blocks are assembled in a free-standing system isolated from the frame, which allows the blocks to conform to the workpiece temperature. Accuracy is further enhanced via a one-piece micrometer spindle with hardened and stabilized measuring threads.
