Stego Smart Sensor CSS 014 temperature/humidity sensor also serves as interface and transmitter

Stego offers the Smart Sensor CSS 014 for measuring temperature and humidity in enclosures and switch cabinets, as well as other applications involving regulated processes. Permanent measurement of temperature and humidity in a switch cabinet is an important element in preventing condensation, which leads to corrosion and thus failure of components.

The compact sensor combines three functions—sensor, interface, and transmitter—in one device. It measures ambient temperatures with high sensitivity within a range of -40 to 140 degrees F while monitoring the relative humidity range from 0 to 100 percent.

Acquired data is transmitted as a standardized analog 4-20 mA signal. The user can further process and convert the measured values within a control or monitoring unit.
