ByTube 130 laser tube cutter from Bystronic processes diameters to 5 in.

Bystronic has introduced the ByTube 130, available with 2-kW or 3-kW fiber laser power for automated 2D laser processing of tube in a variety of materials and thicknesses.

The machine is geared toward processing tubes with diameters between 3/8 and 5 in. and workpiece lengths up to 28 ft. With a loading capacity of 11 lbs./ft., it performs cutting and drilling simultaneously and eliminates the need for deburring.

The system uses ByVision Tube software, and all functions relating to laser tube cutting are displayed on a single, 22-in. HD touchscreen. Users can visualize realistic 3D part animations, create cutting plans, and monitor production processes with software-driven menu selections.
