BART removes more than 3,000 lbs. of waterjet abrasive per hour

The Barton Abrasive Removal Tool, BART, has changed the way operators remove spent garnet from their abrasive waterjet systems. The portable system achieves abrasive removal rates of more than 3,000 lbs./hr. According to the company, the tool is convenient, efficient, versatile, and cost-effective.

Powered by a common pressure washer, the stainless steel wand fits between the waterjet table’s slats and can be operated while the waterjet is running, reducing downtime.

The abrasive removal system is made in the U.S. and is available exclusively through Barton International.
