WARDJet A-0612 waterjet cutting system has footprint less than 25 sq. ft.

WARDJet has introduced the A-0612 waterjet cutting system for industrial jobs. With a footprint of less than 25 sq. ft., the compact machine delivers the same performance as a full-size waterjet, the manufacturer reports.

The machine has a 2- by 4-ft. cutting envelope with the ability to cut materials up to 7 in. thick. The cutting head offers 4 in. of Z-travel to accommodate thick workpieces and adjust nozzle standoff distance. It is powered by a 60,000-PSI pump that enables it to cut through any material in the same amount of time as a large-scale waterjet.

The industrial-grade rack-and-pinion drive system prevents slippage and stretching.
