WARDJet M-series waterjet design allows for multiple head configurations on single gantry

WARDJet Tailored Waterjet Solutions has introduced the M-series CNC waterjet. Its design allows for multiple head configurations on a single gantry, with the ability to park heads outside of the cutting zone.

The high-speed, high-acceleration, large-format machine handles large- and multiple-sheet production. Designed for industry-standard sheet sizes, it maximizes access to all sides of the cutting area. The machine features the company’s Move touch control software, as well as a hardened helical rack-and-pinion drive that allows up to 1,400-IPM accelerations while maintaining accuracy.

The system can accept several types of cutting heads for water-only or abrasive cutting, 5-axis cutting, and 2D capabilities. Multiple heads or spreader bars can be added for increased throughput.
