EWM opens skills center in Austria

Germany-based EWM AG has opened a 21,500-sq.-ft. arc welding skills center in Eberstalzell, Austria.

The nearly $4.1 million facility includes more than 4,000 sq. ft. of office space; a warehouse; and individual areas for service and application technology, each about 2,700 sq. ft. These application technology areas are equipped with EWM welding machines, welding robots, and automation components.

Together with customers, EWM staff develop individual welding parameters and application ideas that optimize complex welding technology production processes and systems. The manufacturer stocks its entire product portfolio for manual and automated applications in the warehouse area, including welding machines and torches, consumables, replacement and wear parts, and safety accessories.
