Hobart opens new Customer Experience Center

Hobart has announced the grand opening of its new Customer Experience Center at its headquarters in Troy, Ohio. The 9,000-sq.-ft. space allows for both on-site and virtual demonstrations of Hobart filler metals, as well as complete welding systems from other ITW Welding Group companies, including Miller Electric Mfg. LLC, Bernard, Tregaskiss, and Jetline.

The facility houses a Customer Applications Lab, which features two robotic welding systems, semiautomatic welding stations, and submerged arc welding equipment. It also includes pipe positioners, plasma cutters, and advanced process equipment. The company’s welding engineers use the CAL to develop and test procedures to help customers improve productivity and quality.

The center also includes a classroom, a hands-on weld training lab, and a virtual training lab for remote learning.
