According to the company, welding will not produce a certain percentage of defective welds. Defective welds are produced because mistakes are being made, and since mistakes can be prevented, so can defective welds. The key is welding quality, not welding inspection, the company states.

The video is designed to advise welders on how to avoid mistakes and how to design and build in welding quality.
