TransSteel 2200 from Fronius receives awards for best product, design
Fronius USA, Portage, Ind., has announced that its TransSteel 2200 multiprocess manual welding system has won a Plus X Award for Best Product of the Year 2018 in the tools category, as well as a Red Dot Design Award.
The Plus X Award recognizes innovation, design, high quality, ease of use, functionality, ergonomics, and ecology. The Red Dot Award honors product design, with the jury awarding the welding system for its multifunctionality in a compact package.
The single-phase power source can be used for GMAW, GTAW, and manual metal arc welding of a variety of materials.
