Weld-Ed to host summer workshops for welding educators

Weld-Ed (National Center for Welding Education and Training), Elyria, Ohio, has announced its 2019 professional development workshop series, which includes seven training modules designed for welding educators and industrial trainers. The five-day, hands-on, instructional workshops offer interactive training throughout the summer at teaching facilities located across the U.S.

The workshop modules cover welding metallurgy; joining and cutting processes; design, assembly, and robotic welding; welding codes, specifications, and safety; instructional design and teaching strategies; NDT; and additional welding and allied processes.

Workshop participants earn four continuing education units and 40 professional development hours. For more information on locations and registration, click here.
