Resistance spot welding course to be offered in July at Ohio State University

The Ohio State University will host a two-day course on resistance spot welding July 13 and 14 at its Edison Joining Technology Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Resistance Spot Welding in the Automotive Industry” is a two-day training program developed by Professors Menachem Kimchi and David Phillips in OSU’s Welding Engineering Program and Materials Science and Engineering Department. Through lectures covering fundamental concepts and hands-on labs using a DC resistance spot welding machine, participants will be trained on the resistance spot welding process, with a focus on how it is used in the automotive industry.
