Harris Products Group names sales director for North America

The Harris Products Group, a manufacturer of gas distribution and regulation products, brazing and welding equipment, and consumables, has promoted Dave Thayer to director of North America sales. He most recently served as regional sales manager – west for parent company Lincoln Electric.

Thayer joined Lincoln Electric in 1994 as a technical sales rep in the Atlanta office. He spent time in Savannah, Ga., before moving to Peoria, Ill., and then serving as district sales manager in Chicago. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University.
