Retired Hobart Brothers manager inducted into engineering academy
Hobart Brothers LLC, a filler metal manufacturer in Troy, Ohio, has announced that Dean Phillips, former manager of welding engineering, is one of 31 engineering alumni inducted into LeTourneau University’s inaugural Academy of Engineering and Engineering Technology.
The academy is a hall of fame that recognizes the career achievements and industry influence of outstanding alumni of LeTourneau’s School of Engineering and Engineering Technology. Induction into the academy honors alumni who achieved noteworthy professional accomplishments and became leaders in their respective disciplines and industries.
Phillips, a LeTourneau graduate, worked at Hobart for 27 years before retiring in June 2016.
