voestalpine Böhler Welding Group to open facility in Indiana
Austria-based voestalpine Böhler Welding Group has announced plans to open a 138,000-sq.-ft. facility in Portage, Ind., creating 50 jobs in the next three years.
The total investment in the facility will be about $13.5 million, of which about $12.85 million will be for machinery and equipment. The company will produce welding consumables, including low- and high-alloy welding wires and rods.
