Burch Tank expands precision cutting capabilities
Burch Tank & Truck has added a fiber laser cutter to its Mount Pleasant, Mich., manufacturing facility. The machine, which has an 8- by 20-ft. double bed, can cut small, intricate pieces to large items from carbon steel up to ¾ in., stainless steel and aluminum alloy up to 7/16 in., and brass up to ¼ in.
“We are excited for the new opportunities; Burch Tank is now able to produce high-quality custom cutting and fabrication parts for not only Burch Tank but other businesses as well,” said Jeff Harrison, CEO.
The company manufactures tanks for the agricultural, chemical, crude oil, petroleum, ISO, and industrial gas industries.
