Bystronic acquires TTM Laser

Niederönz, Switzerland-based Bystronic, a manufacturer of sheet metal processing equipment, has announced its acquisition of TTM Laser S.p.A., Cazzago San Martino, Italy, a developer of 2-D and 3-D laser systems for the cutting of tubes and profiles and for the welding of large metal sheets. The two companies have partnered on joint sales activities since November 2017.

The acquisition deepens Bystronic’s existing portfolio for laser cutting with applications for tubes with diameters from 0.47 to 32 in. and for profiles.

TTM Laser will continue to exist as a brand for the time being and will remain in its current location. In the future, the company will be labeled as a Member of Bystronic. Fiorenzo Castellini, the current CEO of TTM Laser, will retire from executive management.
