Sciaky to deliver electron beam welding machine to Merrill

Sciaky Inc., Chicago, a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries Inc., will deliver an electron beam welding (EBW) machine to Saginaw, Mich.-based systems integrator Merrill.

The company will use the EBW technology to fabricate critical parts and prototypes for multiple industry applications. It offers contract manufacturing services to the defense, aerospace, heavy equipment, automation, energy, and transportation markets.
