Welding Trick: Bungee cord keeps welding gun out of the way

Sometimes we have to reach over objects, like the welding table, to weld. I like to keep the welding gun unencumbered so that it doesn’t get caught around or over something else. That’s why I hang my welding gun from a bungee cord. This makes it easier to get over and around things and puts less stress on the welding equipment as well as on the welder.
