Fronius introduces Steel Edition of TPS/i welding system platform
Fronius USA LLC has launched a new version of its TPS/i power source platform, the Steel Edition. Designed for manual steel welding, it offers characteristics for standard and pulse welding, as well as a WPS package containing welding procedure specifications that are certified in accordance with DIN EN 1090.
The modular system can be customized for individual requirements. Its processors enable it to analyze and control welding processes to help optimize results in a variety of welding tasks on material thicknesses of 1 mm and greater.
The system’s new pulse controlled spray arc feature offers a smooth transition from pulsed to spray arc to help minimize welding spatter.
