NCC P-38 torch from D/F Machine Specialties withstands push welding of aluminum

D/F Machine Specialties has released the NCC P-38 curved, water-cooled, hand-held GMAW gun for push welding aluminum. The lightweight yet heavy-duty gun is designed to withstand the demands and heat of aluminum welding.

The gun can be used with all manufacturers’ wire feeders that have provision for water cooling. It accommodates a slip-in tip fastened by a collet-action nut. The nozzle assembly water chamber and inner body water chamber are serially connected to each other with sliding, removable connectors, which simplifies detachment of the nozzle assembly and eliminates the need for gaskets in the water passage system.

The 50-degree curved metallic front body allows for operation in tight, hard-to-reach areas. The torch has a copper gas nozzle, which threads into the copper front end of the torch for heat dissipation.
