Optrel’s crystal2.0 e3000 PAPR system offers eye, respiratory protection for welders

Optrel has introduced a system that comprises a crystal2.0 welding helmet and an e3000 powered air-purifying respirator. The system delivers eye protection, visual clarity, and safety against airborne particulates for workers during welding or grinding operations.

The NIOSH-approved system protects welders from 99.8 percent of respiratory particulates including smoke, aerosol, and dust. Its adjustable air flow allows even distribution of fresh air in the helmet.

The helmet features the company’s patented Crystal Lens Technology and delivers 31 percent visible light transmission in its light state (protection level 2.0).
