Compact ArcWorld workcells from Yaskawa Motoman integrate robotics into weld processes

Yaskawa Motoman has introduced the ArcWorld RS and ArcWorld HS pre-engineered robotic arc welding workcells as compact options for integrating robotics into current weld processes. Suitable for replacing or supplementing manual welding, such as pre-assembly before welding in larger robotic workcells, each system is designed for small to medium-size part production for medium-volume fabrication.

Requiring 25 sq. ft. of floor space, the RS uses a rotating station manually indexed by the operator, featuring two fixture tables with a 100-kg payload capacity per side. It processes parts up to 425 by 700 by 990 mm. The HS needs 15 sq. ft. of floor space and offers a hinged station that allows easy access for loading/unloading parts. Its single fixture table has a 100-kg payload capacity for processing parts up to 550 by 500 by 1,050 mm.
