Copilot collaborative welding system from Miller Electric offers simple programming, changeover

Miller Electric Mfg. LLC has introduced the Copilot collaborative welding system. This entry-level cobot is designed for shops and welders who are new to robotic welding and looking for ways to keep up with demand, the company states.

Welders input the material thickness and wire diameter, and IntelliSet technology configures the ideal settings for the best results. This allows for quick changeovers for high-mix, low-volume parts. Powered by the Auto-Continuum 350 welding power source and featuring Accu-Pulse, Versa-Pulse, and Regulated Metal Deposition welding processes, the system will grow with businesses and operations as they take on more projects, says the company.
