TIG DynamicWire package from Fronius brings cold-wire component to iWave

Fronius offers GTAW cold-wire components for its iWave. The patented, new TIG DynamicWire welding package actively adjusts the wire speed to the welder’s behavior, torch position, and current conditions, including automatically compensating for component tolerances of up to 30%.

The iWave power categories from 300i to 500i can be upgraded to the cold-wire system. The welding package is ready for use immediately by means of software activation and can also be retrofitted to existing systems at any time.

The wire feeder is set once and then remains in a stable position. The flexible tungsten holder, produced using aluminum 3D printing, is lightweight, and there are no vibrations at the handle.
