Welding filter offers clear view of colors

ArcOne® has introduced Retro-Fit Singles® filters with high-definition technology, so welders can see colors clearly in the light state. There are no washed-out or misleading colors, according to the company.

The filter fits most 2- by 4¼-in. welding helmets. It is solar-powered, so there are no batteries to charge. Light shade is 2.5; dark shade is 9, 10, 11, or 12. The viewing area is 3-3/4 by 1-3/8 in., with a switching speed of 0.5 millisecond.
