Magnatech QX800 weld head from Morgan Industrial Tech includes quick-exchange collets

Morgan Industrial Technology offers the Magnatech QX800 weld head for fusion welding. The orbital weld head comes in the same sizes as the previous 800 series but has new features including quick-exchange collets, a 30% weight reduction, switch panel, and enhanced weld head cooling.

The collets can be substituted for another size in seconds. Older-style 800 series heads also can be retrofitted to fit the new collets. The 30% weight reduction improves ease of use, and the switch panel eliminates the need for a separate remote pendant.
