D/F Machine Specialties introduces automatic GMAW torches

D/F Machine Specialties offers heavy-duty, air-cooled, automatic welding guns for gas metal arc welding. The remote-mount and direct-mount machine barrels are suitable for users involved in all types of automatic welding with fixtures, manipulators, positioners, and robotics.

Offering extended contact tip life, the guns offer 100-percent duty cycle, 400 amps in CO2 shielding, and 260 amps in argon shielding. They are available in multiple torch body lengths, sizes, and profiles.

Brass and copper in the body of the torch carry power and dissipate heat. Power is transferred through a copper adapter that secures the copper current/contact tip. That same copper adapter is the copper gas diffuser, eliminating the need for separate gas diffusers.
