Rex-Cut’s Velocity Pipeliner, Velocity Grinding wheels designed for pipe finishing

Rex-Cut Abrasives has introduced alumina zirconia grinding wheels for pipe welding applications.

The Velocity Pipeliner smooths flame-cut edges on pipe and performs root pass grinding in oil and gas pipeline applications. Its premium grain and hard bond blend make it suitable for use on stainless steel and high-tensile alloys.

A ¼-in.-thick version, the Velocity Grinding wheel, is available for general fabrication applications such as heavy weld grinding, beveling hard steels, grinding casting parting lines, and removing weld deposits. It is suitable for use on stainless steel and ferrous metals such as structural steel and iron.
