Washington Equity Partners acquires Accu-Tube, names CEO
Washington Equity Partners, a private equity firm based in the Washington, D.C., metro area, has acquired Accu-Tube Corp. of Englewood, Colo., and appointed Kevin McGrath as CEO.
Accu-Tube manufactures standard and custom-size stainless steel tubing from 0.009 to 0.375 in. OD for the medical, aerospace, and industrial end markets. Before joining the company, McGrath served as vice president, advanced surgical at Tecomet Inc., a manufacturer of complex parts for the medical device and aerospace/defense markets. He also held executive management roles at Mountainside Medical (where he was one of three original co-founders), Accellent, MedSource Technologies, and National Wire and Stamping.
